Social Events
Members will be entitled to a refund for ticket costs if the refund is requested prior to the final RSVP date. The refund will be equal to the amount paid by the member less an administration fee of 10% of the purchase price. After this time, refunds will only be provided in exceptional and compelling circumstances as determined by the VFUA Executive. Refunds granted in this situation will be equal to the amount paid by the member less any non-refundable costs incurred by the VFUA.
Merchandise
Members will have the right to exchange faulty merchandise purchased from the VFUA within 30 days of receiving the merchandise. They must retain their proof of purchase and also produce the faulty merchandise to a member of the VFUA Executive within the 30 days of receiving the merchandise to be entitled to the exchange. Refunds will not be given if the merchandise has been damaged when being used for a purpose other than which the merchandise is intended to be used.
Memberships
Members will be entitled to a refund of their membership prior to the deadline for membership applications for the relevant season. The refund will be the amount paid by the member minus an administration fee of 10% of the membership. After this time, refunds will only be provided in exceptional and compelling circumstances as determined by the VFUA Executive. Refunds granted in this situation will be calculated on a pro-rata basis less any non-refundable costs incurred by the VFUA.
