AGM Recap

The VFUA’s Annual General Meeting was held last night, with over 60 Members and Life Members in attendance. The meeting lasted approximately two hours with some important business being taken care of.

John Russo Trophy – Daniel Butcher & Lachlan Rayner
Most Improved Field – Hayden Gavine
Most Improved Boundary – Leigh Buwalda
Most Improved Goal – Callum Leonard
Frank Leverett Shield – Leighton Rowe (right, with outgoing President Daniel Butcher)
Courage Award – Ben McDonald & Gareth Verberne

Life Membership nominations were received for Steve Piperno and Nick Laurence, which were duly approved by those in attendance.

An election also took place for the position of Senior Field Track Rep in 2016. Luke McIlroy was elected to remain in this position. The VFUA thanks Tom and Pat for putting their hands up for this role.

Incoming President Michael Curtis delivered his maiden speech, citing the importance of culture, communication and involvement for a strong Association.
