2014 was an exciting and successful season for numerous members. The VFUA would like to congratulate the following umpires and coaches who achieved a promotion in the off-season.

Field: Jack Edwards, Nick Brown and Brent Wallace were promoted to the AFL list, while Michael Curtis and Andrew Talbot were given Rookie Squad opportunities.

Boundary: Jordan Andrews and James Scully were promoted to the AFL list.

Goal: Steven Piperno was promoted to the AFL list.

Coaches: Steve Stirling was appointed to the new position of National Goal Umpires coach, while Damien Anderson was appointed State Umpiring Manager for NSW.
